Where Plaza Lusitania sits and where we stop

Plaza Lusitania is apartments above the small plaza on the Samaná–Las Galeras road, in the centre of the village. The transfer from Samaná El Catey International Airport (AZS) is a direct 1 h 15 – 1 h 30 private run — no shared shuttle, no stops at other hotels on the way. Drop-off is right on the plaza; it is the easiest address in Las Galeras to reach after dark. Because the flight is tracked, a late landing simply means the driver is already waiting when you clear customs, and the price you were quoted in writing is the price you pay at the end of the drive.

How the pickup works

1. 1Send your flight number, date and party size on WhatsApp — we confirm the price in writing.
2. 2We track the flight, so a delay or an early landing does not change anything.
3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 1 h 15 – 1 h 30 drive from AZS to Plaza Lusitania, with the drop-off point confirmed before the day.

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $60. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
