Las Galeras is the village at the end of the peninsula road past Samaná town: a slow, low-rise place with Playa Rincón, La Playita and Playa Frontón within reach and one main street through the middle. It is the longest peninsula run from AZS, which is why arriving without a booked transfer catches people out here more than anywhere else.
