Write down all three journeys
Make a short itinerary with dates, full property names, passengers and luggage for each leg. For example, you might arrive at a hotel in Las Terrenas and finish your stay in Las Galeras. The AZS–Las Terrenas route helps with the first leg; it does not arrange the later move. Check that your arrival and departure flights actually use Samaná El Catey, AZS, rather than another Dominican airport.
Confirm the actual properties and entrances
Las Terrenas, Samaná town and Las Galeras are different places, not interchangeable hotel zones. Use the name on each reservation and the actual entrance, especially for similarly named properties. For a villa, provide the host's access instructions and an agreed meeting point. If your last stay is in Las Galeras, use the Las Galeras airport route as the relevant route reference, rather than carrying over the first hotel's journey details.
Organise moving day around both hotels
Ask each property about its actual checkout and check-in times before choosing the hotel-to-hotel transfer. Confirm whether either reception can accept or store your bags and whether access is possible before the room is ready. Do not assume luggage storage, a lunch stop or several hours with the vehicle is included. List every requested stop before the route is accepted.
Get a written quote for the whole itinerary
Ask for origin, destination, date, pickup arrangements, vehicle and total for each leg, plus what the combined amount includes. The round-trip transfer information describes booking both airport journeys; a same-zone displayed total is not automatically a mixed-hotel quote. Ask whether any return discount applies to your particular plan. Provide the real passenger and luggage requirements for every leg, including any changes in the party, child seats or large items. Request confirmation of availability before treating a request as a booking.
Plan departure from your final accommodation
Supply the outgoing flight number and local departure date, including the correct date for an overnight or early-morning journey. Have the pickup calculated from the final address, airline deadlines and a suitable road allowance. Do not reuse the arrival hotel's timing. The hotel return-pickup guide explains the meeting arrangements; confirm the actual lobby, gate or villa entrance and have bags ready there at the agreed time.
Reconfirm after a change of plans
If a hotel, moving date, flight, passenger count or luggage requirement changes, send the revised itinerary in the existing booking conversation. Specify which legs change and which remain as agreed. Obtain a written response covering availability, pickup details and any revised total before relying on the new plan. Changing your hotel reservation does not update the transport booking, and a message sent is not itself acceptance of a new route.

Questions we get on this
- Can I return to AZS from a different hotel?
- Request both exact addresses and dates as part of the itinerary. The desk must confirm the final pickup, vehicle availability and price; the arrival address should not be reused by default.
- Is the hotel change included in my airport round trip?
- Do not assume so. Identify the middle journey explicitly and ask for its price and arrangements to appear in the written confirmation.
- What if my last stay is in a villa?
- Send the precise entrance, host instructions and any access restrictions. Confirm where the car can meet you and the departure pickup time before the travel day.
